Meet Yvonne

Hi, I’m Yvonne—an Asheville-based photographer with a lifelong connection to the craft. I picked up my first camera at eight years old and never really put it down. What started with film has grown into over 15 years of professional experience, working with both incredible brands and documenting some of life’s most meaningful moments.

Today, my focus is photographing elopements and intimate weddings in the Blue Ridge Mountains and beyond. I’m drawn to the in-between moments—the quiet, the unscripted, the ones that feel the most real—and capturing them in a way that feels natural, elevated, and true to you.

My background in commercial and product photography has shaped how I approach every wedding day. It’s given me a strong technical foundation—an understanding of light, composition, and consistency in any environment—so you can trust that no matter the setting, your photos are intentional and refined.

So, who are you hiring?

First things first: Yvonne is pronounced E-von—the spelling tends to throw people off!

I’m happiest outside. Mountain biking, skiing, trail running, hiking—whatever happens to be in season, I’m probably doing it. Add a good sunset, an ice cream cone, and an unreasonable amount of coffee, and I’m pretty happy.

I genuinely love photography. Like full on nerd status. I built my own home studio and am constantly learning, experimenting with new techniques, and finding new ways to make beautiful images. So yes, I will absolutely nerd out about light with you.

I’m your biggest hype girl. My job isn’t just to take great photos—it’s to make sure you feel great while we’re doing it. I’ll help you know what to do, fix your hair when it’s doing something weird, tell you when you look incredible, and make sure we’re having a good time.

I’m also a planner at heart. I love a good timeline, knowing all the moving pieces, and making sure things actually get done. But I also know when to throw the plan out the window and go with the flow. Basically: organized enough to keep things running smoothly, relaxed enough to enjoy the ride.
